Ralph Lauren Purple Label shirts

Ralph Lauren Purple Label is a menswear label, which was founded by American designer Ralph Lauren in 1994. Purple Label shirts are manufactured in Italy. They are made of very nice 100% cotton fabrics (double mercerised). These shirts are equipped with genuine mother-of-pearl buttons (thin ones; MOP comes from Australia). Yokes are usually non-split (several exceptions exist). Gussets (probably not always). No hand-stitching. Sleeves are sewn on as usual.

Ralph Lauren Purple Label shirts are offered in several patterns (for example, glen plaid, houndstooth, bengal stripes, herringbone). Colous and shades: blue, lavender, grey, etc. Solid colour shirts are also available (white, blue, lavender, brown, light grey). Weaves: poplin, oxford, end-on-end, chambray, jacquard, pique. Collar shapes: cutaway, spread, semi-spread, button-down. Fused and non-fused collars; removable collar stays (except button-down shirts). Button cuffs (rounded). Sizes: 14.5 – 18.5 in. (= 37 – 47 cm). Moderately slim fit. You can purchase Purple Label shirts at MrPorter.com, RalphLauren.com, Barneys.com, SaksFifthAvenue.com. Prices start at 350 USD (no VAT) or 242 GBP (excl. VAT). In my opinion, these shirts are overpriced.
