Charles Tyrwhitt is an English label, which was established by Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler in 1986. Charles Tyrwhitt shirts are usually made in Asia. They usually feature plastic buttons (not shanked), gussets, split yokes (cut not on the bias), fused collars, removable collar stays (made of brass). Luxury line shirts have troca shell buttons. There is no hand-stitching. Sleeves are sewn on as usual. The brand uses 100% cotton and cotton+linen fabrics (usually 2-ply ones; 100’s; often non-iron ones, sometimes Egyptian cotton).
