Kabbaz-Kelly is an American atelier established by Alexander Kabbaz and Joelle Kelly in the 1970s. They specialise in bespoke shirts of the highest quality. The prices are very high (from 1000 USD per shirt), and the minimum order is 6 shirts. Kabbaz-Kelly shirts feature single-needle stitching, high stitch density (7-12 stitches per 1 cm., depending upon the part of the shirt), split yokes, perfect pattern matching (where possible), flawless and shanked mother-of-pearl buttons (appr. 3 mm. thickness; there is a wide choice of MOP buttons in most colours and shades). Collars can be fused or non-fused. The fit is perfect because Alexander creates multiple prototypes and samples, and he has more than three decades of experience in shirtmaking. Some of his clients: Michael Douglas, Tom Wolfe, Cary Grant, Ralph Lauren, Aristotle Onassis.
Alexander Kabbaz and Joelle Kelly offer a wide selection of high quality fabrics – mainly by Alumo, sometimes by Albini (genuine 2-ply or even 3-ply; double mercerised and singed; Oeko-Tex Standard 100; extra-long staple Egyptian cotton – often Giza 45; certified Sea Island cotton). All Kabbaz-Kelly shirts are made in their own workshop in the USA. Call them 1-866-267-7909 (US Toll Free) or +01-631-267-7909 (International) to book an appointment.
