Zimmerli is a Swiss company, which specialises in underwear, but it also sells mid-calf and over-the-calf socks. They’re made of 100% mercerised cotton (fil d’ecosse), 100% silk, 100% extra fine merino wool. Their toes are hand-linked. These socks are thin (sometimes very thin), they are knitted by machines with 200 or more needles.

Unfortunately, Zimmerli socks are offered only in basic colours like black, grey, ecru, navy, blue, brown. They are all solids; sometimes ribbed, sometimes smooth.
