Norton & Sons is an English bespoke atelier, which was founded by Walter Norton in 1821. Norton & Sons shirts are manufactured in England. You can choose from approximately 2000 shirtings; yarn numbers: 100 – 300; most fabrics are genuine 2-ply; some fabrics are made of certified Sea Island cotton. Available weaves: twill, oxford, royal oxford, poplin. Fabrics are cut by hand, but there is no hand-stitching. Of course, buttons are made of mother-of-pearl, and side seams are single-needle stitched. Collars are non-fused.
Prices start at 230 GBP (incl. VAT). Only bespoke – and therefore no sales. Minimum order: 3 shirts. Hand embroidered monogramming service is available (at an additional cost). You can order Norton & Sons shirts in the atelier (16 Savile Row, London). Besides, Norton & Sons tailors often visit New York (check their website to get details).
