Caccioppoli is a Neapolitan brand and shop, which sells fabrics for suits, sportcoats and shirts. The company was founded by Vincenzo Caccioppoli and his children in 1920. Caccioppoli fabrics are usually made in Italy (sometimes – made in England). The range of patterns is wide: checks, stripes, polka dots, solids, paisley, floral and abstract patterns. There are about 500 shirtings. Weaves: zephyr, poplin, pique, twill, batiste, jersey.
Caccioppoli shirtings are made of high quality cotton (sometimes – Giza 45, extra-long staple cotton from Egypt), linen, cotton + linen. There are 1-ply and 2-ply shirtings (often 2×2). Yarn numbers: 30 – 140.
