Mileta is a Czech company, which was founded in 1949. It produces moderately priced shirtings. They are manufactured in Czech Republic, and they have Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. The company employs about 420 people; its annual turnover is more than 20 mln EUR.
Mileta uses long-staple cotton (sometimes Egyptian cotton; sometimes cotton + polyamide + elastane). There are 1-ply and 2-ply fabrics. Yarn numbers: 40 – 170. The range of shirtings is wide (approximately 1150 fabrics). Some Mileta fabrics are non-iron / easy care (Cottonova line). Some shirtings are designed by Italians.
Mileta fabrics are used by Bloomboxer, Bernhardt, Galard, Van Gils and other brands and ateliers.
