Leggiuno is an Italian producer of shirtings. It was founded in 1908. Leggiuno fabrics are made in Italy from start to finish. The company uses Egyptian cotton, often extra-long staple one (Giza 87 and Giza 45). Besides, Leggiuno uses American Supima cotton and French linen (from Normandy). The company offers lots of 2-ply fabrics as well as 1-ply fabrics. Yarn numbers: 80 – 170.
Leggiuno shirting are available in solid colours and various patterns, prints. There are yarn-dyed, piece-dyed and printed fabrics. The range is very wide; the factory creates about 3500 designs every season. Weaves: poplin, jacquard, dobby, twill, oxford, end-on-end, chambray. All Leggiuno fabrics comply with Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Leggiuno fabrics are used by Banana Republic, Burberry, Duchamp, J.Lindeberg, Kenzo, Paul Smith, Prada, Suitsupply, Tiger of Sweden and several other brands.
