Fashion week’s soon to be upon us, when the one-namers—Marc, Diane, Donna, Calvin—will be the names on everyone’s lips. But before then, Supima is giving six up-and-comers their own shot at fashion fame. The third annual Supima Design Competition commences next Tuesday, where a half-dozen emerging labels will present their designs to a judging panel including New York Times fashion director Horacio Silva and Parsons dean of fashion Simon Collins. Nai’s Nadia Ivanova, Robin Tomas, Rochambeau’s Michael Venker, Gina DeSilva, Heber Sanchez, and the sister duo of Sachika’s To-Tam and To-Nya Ton-Nu will each design three women’s evening looks and one men’s T-…

With 7 hrs of battery life, you can run Snow leopard more efficiently. There is 2 Universal serial Bus 2.0 drives, (NO FIREWIRE!), audio input/output, mag-safe adapter plug-in, Net LAN, Wifi interference, Mini port, and Kingston lock. Episode 5: It's Show Time!The Supima Design Competition culminates in a star-studded evening at the New York Times Center. The designers have earned the opportunity to show their collections in front of an audience of New York City's fashion elite. The judges make their final decision and supermodel Coco Rocha is on hand to announce the winners.
Episode 4: Getting Runway Ready...Supima takes over the New York Times Center on the day of the runway show. The designers arrive with their final collections and begin to dress their models in preparation for the competition. But with the show scheduled to start within the hour, one of the designers still has not arrived.
Episode 3: The Final Fitting...Six finalists have been provided with Supima fabrics and charged with creating four original designs. Just a week before the runway show, the judges expect to see near finished collections. To their surprise some designers arrive unprepared.
Episode 2: The Chosen Six...Supima assembles a panel of prestigious judges to review twelve hopeful fashion designers. Tensions run high as only six will make it to the finals and have the opportunity to show their designs in front of New York's Fashion elite.

New US Passport Design is, um, Incredible?
[Design]The new U.S. e-passport will incorporate updated security features and a new design. This design will reflect the varied landscapes of our country and each page will include a quote reflecting the hope and success that is the United States of America. They sure crammed in as much imagery as they could. Pretty incredible.
