Nai’s Nadia Ivanova, Robin Tomas, Rochambeau’s Michael Venker, Gina DeSilva, Heber Sanchez, and the sister duo of Sachika’s To-Tam and To-Nya Ton-Nu will each design three women’s evening looks and one men’s T-…

7 Rising Stars of New York Fashion Week
There’s no question New York is busting at the seams with promising design talent. And while we don’t necessarily equate NEW with AWESOME, we’ve decided to round up the NYFW designers who really went for the gold this season. On Our Radar: Pipit Dresses
If it wasn’t for the roving eye of a few chic, young gallerinas, Pipit designer Dustin Horowitz might be painting portraits instead of making dresses. After he left his longtime post as creative director at Tommy Hilfiger in 2007, Horowitz launched the dress label as a side project, but his main focus was fine art. After all, that—not...

Perfect Outfit: How To Stay Warm And Stylish In White This Winter
We love winter white , but wearing the hue from head to toe can leave some looking like Ms. Marshmallow Fluff. Our advice is to keep it light on top and wear a darker tone on the bottom, like our stylist-friend, Gina. Throwing a white or cream-colored boyfriend blazer on top of several short layers is a great way to wear white without accumulating...

Meet The Punk Rocker Moonlighting On The Men’s Runways
George Barnett’s first modelling job was Hedi Slimane’s last show for Dior Homme in 2007. Since then, his wraith-pale, angular features have made him one of the most recognisable faces in men’s fashion. He’s got the saintly sinner look that appeals to designers like Alber Elbaz and Miuccia Prada. But modeling is moonlighting...
New York Fashion Week: Could Ohne Titel be the next Donna Karan?
The most exciting thing I saw on the runway Saturday was the Ohne Titel collection. Bringing a new kind of cool to draped silk, velvet and washed leather separates by working them with athletic mesh and knit, designers Flora Gill and Alexa Adams challenged the boring vernacular of office suiting. Could we be looking at the next Donna Karan? The designers,...
