The sending is a process for Tidus' reborn. But it's very dangerous for Yuna to send his soul away because after that she'll be a refugee, too. So, after the sending Yuna awakes in another world, the world where Tidus has been gone after his death. She tells him to go with her, so he would be reborn and her destiny was .. the death, but she already knows that. "Come with me!" - "Thank you so much!" - (("Now I must die..")) Back into the other world, Yuna was the refugee. There was no other summoner anymore, who'd love and save her [ or even know her ] . She died at the same place as Tidus.
